Craft opportunities and training calendar

For the fifth year running the National Museums Scotland are looking for artists to participate in gifted. This highly successful selling exhibition will be displayed over the Christmas period in the National Museum of Scotland. The exhibition will showcase the exceptional quality and variety of contemporary craft created by Scotland's designer-makers.

National Museums Scotland invite submissions from all designer-makers who wish to be considered for gifted.

If you would like to be considered please submit:

• An up-to-date CV
• Images/examples of recent work
• Details of artist's price and production times

Closing date for applications is Friday 24 July 2008.

All submissions will be considered and the final selection will be made by the 'gifted' exhibitions committee. The chosen designer-makers will be contacted individually. All material submitted for consideration to National Museums Scotland will not be returned. All material supplied to National Museums Scotland for sale will be on a sale or return basis. The gifted exhibition committee will consider craft of all types and size with a retail ceiling price of £350.
