Get knitted at the National Museum of Costume!
All of the adult craft workshops at the National Museum of Costume, New Abbey, Dumfries DG2 8HQ in 2008 have a knitting theme to complement their special exhibition, Hip Knits. Workshops are held on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. There is an hour for lunch which gives participants the chance to see the museum and exhibition - all included in the price - and take time to have lunch in their tea room or enjoy their own picnic in their beautiful gardens. All materials will be supplied, but you are invited to bring anything of your own which may be inspirational or a special material you wish to include in your work. www.nms.ac.uk/costume
