Glass Formations at Leith Gallery

Changing Formations, an exhibition of new work by glass artist Inge Panneels, has opened at the Leith Gallery in Edinburgh.

Inge, who is originally from Belgium, trained at Edinburgh College of Art, and uses the kilnbased glass techniques of fusing, pate-de-verre and slumping to create glass wall hangings, glass dishes and bowls.

In 2004 she was commissioned by the Scottish Executive to design and make the Smart: Scotland Awards and she has recently been asked to design the 2005 awards.

She also creates architectural glass installations and has completed commissions across the UK and Belgium. 

The exhibition is taking place at the Leith Gallery, 65 The Shore, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6RA from 16 April until 7 May 2005.  Opening hours are Monday to Friday 11am to 5pm and Saturday 11am to 4pm.  Admission free.
