Teapot Handles Curl in Glasgow Show

A solo exhibition of silver tableware, Anticlastic, by internationally renowned silversmith Kevin O’Dwyer has opened at the Roger Billcliffe Gallery in Glasgow.

Kevin creates a diversity of forms from curling teapot handles to a formal coffee service using the traditional silversmithing techniques of forging, anticlastic raising and planishing. 

An American, with an Irish upbringing, he has work in private and public collections including Nelson Mandela, King Karl Gustas of Sweden and the Japanese Imperial Family.

The show is being held alongside an exhibition of new ceramics by Gareth Mason.
