The Spring Fling takes place this weekend as artists and makers across Dumfries and Galloway open their workshops and studios to visitors.
Six different routes are suggested and here is a selection of the makers participating in each one:
The Orange route includes hand thrown ceramics by Ruth Elizabeth Jones in Langholm and furniture by Matthew White in Moffat.
Following the Green route takes in contemporary ceramics by Kirstin Brown and Fergus Stewart at Gracefield Arts Centre in Dumfries which is also the venue for the Clay in Bloom exhibition showing work by members of the Scottish Potters Association. On the Blue route there is jewellery by Joanna Repton and wood by Bob McVeigh in Auldgirth, ceramics by Susan McKay and decorative wood by Fiona Allardyce-Lewis in Moniaive, ceramics by Anthea Summers and handmade bags by Jane Taylor in Thornhill.
The Purple route features textile wall hangings by Jenny Cooper in New Abbey, woven textiles by Alison Fair in Caulkerbush, decorated pottery by Christine Smith and Rodger Smith in Dalbeattie, baskets by Lizzie Farey in Castle Douglas and furniture by Mark Devlin in Castle Douglas. Both Lizzie and Mark were accepted to exhibit at Chelsea Crafts Fair last year for the first time.
Along the Red route there is handthrown and glazed stoneware by Will Levi Marshall in Auchencairn, textiles by Jo Gallant, furniture by Peter Machell in the Tolbooth Art Centre in Kirkcudbright, and ceramics by Fiona Thompson in Gatehouse of Fleet.
And lastly, the Yellow route includes ceramics by Su Inman in Creetown, and in Newton Stewart, ceramics by Topham Vickers and hats by Kay Ribbens.

Visitors who pick up a yellow card in the first studio they visit and then collect a minimum of four stickers from the other studios they go to can enter a prize draw to win £200 to spend in any of the participating studios.
The Spring Fling is on from 28 until 30 May between 10.30am and 5.30pm.
