Design graduates from across Scotland head for London this week to take part in New Designers, the largest and longest running graduate design exhibition in the UK.
Over 4,000 design graduates from around 200 university and college courses from across the UK will present their work at the event which includes ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, fashion and furniture.
Fresh from the Degree Shows, design students from Gray’s School of Art, Edinburgh College of Art, Glasgow School of Art, Duncan of Jordanstone College and the College of Textiles in Galashiels will be representing the best of new Scottish design.
It is a pivotal event for graduates, as the show provides a link between graduates and industry, and has a track record for unearthing and identifying fresh talent.
New Designers 2005 runs for two separate weeks from 30 June to 3 July and the 7 to 10 July 2005. For further details about the event or to buy tickets online visit New Designers.
