Craft Scotland have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated graduate to join our marketing department. Based in the creative hub of Leith, Edinburgh, our 12-month graduate placement will place you at the intersection of culture, digital and Ecommerce.
This is your chance to proactively contribute to the organisation’s growth with your dedicated Ecommerce, subscriptions and content marketing project. This role would suit a self-starter who is looking for a substantial digital project to develop their marketing skills.
As part of our growth strategy, Craft Scotland is embarking on a web redevelopment project in 2017 that will add new functionality to our website - including an online shop and a paid subscription model. The online shop will offer a curated craft collection that links to Craft Scotland’s existing programme of events and showcases. The successful candidate will contribute to the strategy of these areas together with the marketing team.
You will be involved in every area of the online shop: from liaising with makers about their collections to crafting targeted marketing campaigns that drive sales.
Along with the marketing team, you will use digital marketing and content creation to build brand awareness and generate sales. You will be reporting to the Marketing Manager, who will support you in achieving your targets and developing your skills.
This placement aims to successfully launch a brand new Ecommerce site for Craft Scotland, making it the retail destination for Scottish contemporary craft. Additionally, developing our advertising areas by cultivating relationships with key craft locations.
