Craft Scotland is inviting makers to register their interest to come and see The Craft Gallery at Scotland’s Trade Fair. The trip aims to provide an insight into the show; help you to decide whether it is right for your business and how you might need to develop your product/s for this trade audience.

The Craft Gallery is a partnership between Craft Scotland and Springboard Events Ltd and is designed to showcase the talent and variety of craft makers in Scotland. It is a separate section within the larger show creating an opportunity in Scotland for makers to promote their work to the retail buyer. There are around 25 makers taking part in The Craft Gallery in 2017.

The show is visited by around 5,000 trade buyers from department stores, mail-order retailers, online retailers, tourist attractions and independent retail outlets. Internationally it attracts buyers from North America, Japan, France and more. From home, it attracts the buyers for the National Trust for Scotland, Glasgow Museums and smaller gallery/shops such as Captain’s Cabin in Ullapool and Concrete Wardrobe in Edinburgh.

Craft Scotland is inviting makers to register their interest to come and see the show on either Monday 23 January/Tuesday 24 January 2017. The date will be confirmed in the New Year.
