Craft Scotland at COLLECT 2010
This was the third time Craft Scotland showed at Collect. Our presentation demonstrated the impact of three narrative themes – nature, fantasy and architecture – and how Scottish based artists respond to them.
Contemporary techniques and materials were placed alongside traditional methods to explore the stark parallels between a natural landscape and an industrial, man-made environment where childhood fantasy becomes the alternative middle ground.
