The Association for Contemporary Jewellery is an organisation based in Britain, devoted to the promotion of contemporary jewellery.
Our quarterly newsletter, Findings, features news, reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts.
Our biennial conference offers a forum for debate and exchange of information and ideas on matters ranging from aesthetics to new technology, where delegates hear speakers and meet their counterparts from across the world.
We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.
We organise workshops, seminars and other events, both nationally and regionally. For details, check our website regularly www.acj.org.uk for updates on regional events, conferences and members opportunities. Hazel White has recently taken over as co-ordinator for the ACJ in Scotland and the North East.
