In his furniture Adrian selects from riven material the shapes that follow inner tree growth evolving ideas combining elements of early furniture with his own design.

He began making furniture in the Scottish Borders in 1992 and two years later began to develop oak furniture in a more personal approach to design and carving.  He has continued to explore cleft oak furniture.

He has exhibited across the UK and at SOFA in Chicago, USA.

Cagney and Lacey have bought stools, and more recently the Globe Theatre in London bought furniture for the stage, outside piazza and entrance foyer.  In October he will be selling his work at Origin: the London Craft Fair 2006.
