Applied Arts ScotlandNotice: Monday 4 June 2007 Applied Arts Scotland is currently in the process of re-structuring to become more flexible to the needs of makers and those interested in Applied Arts. We will no longer be publishing the e-bulletin and the current website will be closing down at the end of June 2007. We will therefore no longer be publishing news and opportunities or organising events and conferences as we have in the past; there will no longer be an administrator based in the office at Edinburgh College of Art, also from the end of June 2007. We would like to thank Edinburgh College of Art for kindly housing us over the years. AAS will continue instead with a google website where makers and those interested in Applied Arts can visit, have their say and read comments put forward by others. The google group site will run as a forum to hear from makers directly and the committee will organise regular meetings for all to attend, to discuss any issues and ideas. Future plans will then be based on and directed by those discussions.
