Clare Hillerby, who is based in Edinburgh , trained at Edinburgh College of Art. 

Silver strips which are layered, wrapped, looped and folded are the basis of her work.  She mixes silver, yellow gold leaf and fragments of paper from old printed books and found handwritten postcards.  The lettering represents the idea of short uncertain conversations.
