I like the merging of skills in three dimensional making and digital printing techniques, all technologies, everything is there.  It’s new, colourful and complete.

Alison Murray of Everything is Pattern and Francesca Pollock and Morven Shearlaw of Never the Same Twice created a virtually designed ‘print a dress’. Combining digital printing and engineering design with prototyping techniques they created a one-off piece inspired by vintage patterns and digital design techniques.  Their process allows textile pattern to be exactly placed and printed before construction creating a garment that is both unique and minimum waste.
