The Craft Scotland Community is your home for opportunities, information on starting and growing your craft business, details of where to find funding, and the place where you can edit and update your Craft Scotland profile.
Craft Scotland maker, place and organisation profiles are completely free to set up, and give you space to tell our visitors about your work, what inspires your practice, what materials you use, where you are based, opening hours, or the support you offer makers. You can let people know if you are open to commissions or collaborations, list your website details, link to your social media page, and add any other contact information you want to include. You can also list your ‘Craft Connections’: used to link you with organisations you work with and galleries or shops where visitors can find your work; and show users a stunning image of your work.
Once approved, your profile will be linked to any workshops, exhibitions, or events involving you or your work. You must hold a public maker profile to apply for any opportunities with Craft Scotland, and makers with a particularly striking image on their profile will be in with a chance of having their profile on our homepage. To apply for a maker, place or organisation profile you must first register on the Craft Scotland website, which you can do by clicking on any of the links below.
If you haven't registered on the Craft Scotland website yet, what are you waiting for?
If you are not a maker, don't have a craft place and are not part of an organisation you can still register for the Craft Scotland website here. Registration will allow you to sign up to our newsletters and add events and opportunities to our website.
