Celebrating Creativity, Expression & Colour: A two-day mosaic event in Edinburgh

The British Association for Modern Mosaic is holding its annual forum at the University of Edinburgh on Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October 2017. This is your opportunity to hear from Scottish, national and international mosaic practitioners to inspire and expand your creative horizons.
The Saturday Forum will be held at South Hall at Pollock Halls, University of Edinburgh and runs from 9am to 5.30pm and the full-day Sunday workshops will be held at the Edinburgh College of Art.
Forum topics range from the making of the Tottenham Court Road Eduardo Paolozzi mosaics, Byzantine Mosaic Art and how it relates to contemporary work, and Nathalie Vin on her work as a mixed media and mosaic artist. The workshops include Emma Biggs giving mosaic tutorials, Joanna Kessel and Tamara Froud exploring colour and Marian Shapiro on making mosaic substrates.
The two-day event will run on Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October 2017.
