An opportunity has arisen for a part-time intern with Laura Spring between September and November 2012.

Laura Spring is a Glasgow based designer/maker who works from a studio on Albert Drive in the south side of Glasgow.

Duties and responsibilities will include preparing and assisting with general printing tasks, basic cutting/sewing tasks as well as general day to day studio duties.

This would ideally suit a recent printed textiles graduate or a student looking for some experience in a working studio environment. A good level of textile printing is essential and some sewing and computer skills are desirable.

This is a voluntary position but lunch will be provided. Ideally you will be available one or two days a week from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
