If you are aged between 18 and 30 and have a business idea that relates to the creative industries, then The Prince’s Trust Creative Enterprise Project Scotland could help support you in a variety of ways.

Supported by funding from Creative Scotland, over the next three years, The Prince’s Trust Youth Business Scotland programme will provide up to 50 young people with the help they need to get their businesses off the ground, including access to finance, training and professional business mentoring support.

Youth Business Scotland helps ideas that fall under the creative sectors: Music, literature, publishing, film/video, product design (Craft, fashion and textiles), digital media, performing arts (Theatre, dance), visual art/galleries and community arts are all eligible for support.

You can apply for a start-up loan of up to £5,000 and you may be able to access a grant of up to £1,000. You will have access to business planning advice, mentoring support, valuable networking opportunities and vital training services to help you with finance management.

If you are aged between 26 and 30 and are in employment, you must be working fewer than 16 hours a week to be eligible.

This opportunity has a rolling deadline.
