There's nothing that can quite compare with a good browse in a gallery, a small independent boutique or buying directly from the maker during an open studio or selling event. But if you are looking to do some shopping online, we have put together this handy guide.
We bring you a round-up of some of the more festive craft events taking place across the country in November and December.
Makers Monday is a campaign created to celebrate the excellence of craft and support the local makers and businesses that craft products in the towns, cities and neighbourhoods where we live.
It encourages consumers to buy from a local maker on Monday 30 November 2015, and to share their hand-crafted purchases on their social networks. Buyers can take the pledge and sign up to the newsletter, makers can apply to have their business featured.
For November's opportunities round-up we bring you details of our Go & See trips to New York and London in January. If you are interested in selling your work to trade, you can apply to visit NY Now 2016 or CRAFT 2016 in London: to get a feel for the shows and determine whether or not you think they would be right for your work.
