Over the past few months, The Living Memory Association (TheLMA) has been exploring craft and making through a craft reminiscence programme called Making Memories. To tie into this, we partnered with TheLMA to deliver a series of Meet Your Maker events in the form of drop-in craft workshops at The Little Shop of Memory in Edinburgh’s Ocean Terminal. We caught up with the team from TheLMA to hear about their Meet Your Maker experience, and get the low-down from their makers.

We have partnered up with the Edinburgh International Book Festival again this year to present two Meet Your Maker events and workshops. Just a stone's throw away from our Summer Show at White Stuff on George Street, we will support two free drop-in events for families, part of the Baillie Gifford Children's Programme.
Cyan Clayworks was recently awarded funding through Creative Scotland which will enable an exciting new phase of growth and development. Part of the funding will be allocated for equipment; and part for hosting an international guest artist (in 2016) as a pilot scheme. As the third element of the project, the studio intends to offer structured placements for recent arts graduates.
