Craft Scotland are pleased to announce the newly selected makers for SOFA Chicago 2013.

Craft Scotland are pleased to announce their participation at SOFA Chicago in November 2013.

The Craft Scotland team will be in Chicago from 1 November where we will be one of the international galleries taking part in SOFA Chicago at the Navy Pier.  The show launches with an Opening Night Preview on 1 November before it opens to the public 2 – 4 November.

Rebecca Wilson makes beautiful ceramic objects from her studio in Leith, Edinburgh. Rebecca is one of six makers whose work will be showcased by Craft Scotland at SOFA Chicago 2012. 

Meet Craig Stuart, a maker based in Dunkeld, Perthshire, who creates intricate works of jewellery using the technique of Mokume Gane.

Meet Angus Ross, a Scottish maker of furniture and public art, based in Aberfeldy.

Following our SOFA preview film released last week, we now present the first short film featuring one of our SOFA Chicago makers.

Following the announcement that Craft Scotland will represent Scotland later this year at SOFA Chicago, Craft Scotland are now delighted to announce the makers we will take to SOFA New York 2013.

In the last few weeks, Jo and I have travelled around Scotland to film the makers we are showing at SOFA Chicago in November 2012.

Craft Scotland will represent Scotland later this year when they take six of the nations’ most qualified craftspeople to the international exposition, SOFA Chicago.
