In the last few weeks, Jo and I have travelled around Scotland to film the makers we are showing at SOFA Chicago in November 2012.

It has been wonderful to visit the studios, to watch people work on the pieces that we will show at SOFA and learn about their inspiration, process, and practice. The footage we’ve shot on location should help to give a glimpse of each maker’s world, and we aim to release a preview film for the show as well as a short film on each of the maker’s we have visited.

Look out for the first film from our SOFA Chicago tour of Scotland in the next few weeks, and from our next tour (Episode II, for New York) early next year.
