Registered Scottish charity Craft Scotland are now recruiting experienced and passionate people for our Board of Directors.
About Craft Scotland
Since our launch in 2008 as the world’s first audience development agency for craft, we have worked to build the foundations for a national organisation which celebrates craft in all its forms.
This means that we employ the three principles of audience development in our work - marketing & communications, research & intelligence, and engagement & participation – to create opportunities for people to visit, see, make, buy, experience, collect and enjoy Scottish craft.
Our website (www.craftscotland.org) serves as the largest what’s on guide for Scottish craft in the world, we are currently working on two major presentations of craft in the USA (Chicago and New York), and we are work with a diverse range of partners including Fife Contemporary Art and Craft, Manchester Craft and Design Centre and Young Scot.
We are about to embark on the next stage of our development with a number of initiatives to generate income and security for our charity and the Scottish craft sector.
We are looking for experienced and passionate people to join our Board as we progress into this next phase.
