2016 has brought some changes and new additions to the Craft Scotland board.
After six years, Jacquie Edwards and Ginnie Atkinson have stepped down from the Craft Scotland board. Both Jacquie and Ginnie joined the board in 2010, Jacquie was elected Chair and Ginnie Atkinson was on the Finance sub-group. Jacquie and Ginnie brought with them their vast body of knowledge in business and arts organisations. They have been instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of Craft Scotland and are leaving it in great shape for the future.
We want to thank Jacquie and Ginnie for their valuable contribution to the organisation and wish them all the best in the future endeavours.
Taking up the mantle is Catherine Holden, who has been elected Chair of the board and Mary Michel as the Vice-Chair. We are delighted to welcome them to these roles, and with their detailed understanding of business, communications and cultural organisations we look forward to this next chapter of the organisation.
We are also thrilled to announce two new members to our board, Stephen Bottomley and Miles Harrison. Both Stephen and Miles bring with them a wealth of experience in jewellery/education and organisation/governance development respectively.
