We've had one of those 'blink and you'll miss it' months in the office, and I can hardly believe that it's going to be Christmas in a mere two days.
The end of November saw us planning a The C Word party in Glasgow. We organised a pop-up shop, invited everyone subscribed to our e-bulletin, and held a lovely bash in the Glasgow Drawing Studios. I put photos from our Spread The C Word event on our Flickr photostream (below), and we'll soon get a video from the event up on the site. To tie in with the party, I made some little buttons for use on blogs and personal websites, to help others spread the word that craft is something to shout about. If you have any ideas to help 'Spread The C Word', just get in touch with me.
I also created a new 'Scottish Craft' group on Flickr, for people (not just Craft Scotland members) to display their craft. Some lovely work has gone into the group already - if you're on Flickr, do join in!
I put a call out this week on our Facebook and Twitter pages, for people to let me know what craft workshops, classes or courses they will be running in 2010.
We're going to be out of the office on festive leave until the first week in January, but you can still email us with your updates, news, events and opportunities, which we'll add to the site on our return.
Until then, seasons greetings,
Online Marketing Officer
