London Design Fair - Scottish Showcase Craft

A new country showcase of contemporary Scottish craft will take centre-stage at London Design Fair. The Scotland: Craft & Design pavilion of handmade design-led pieces is a partnership between Craft Scotland and Emergents. 22 emerging and established designer/makers from across Scotland will exhibit at this industry event, part of the renowned London Design Festival.

Located in the creative heart of East London, London Design Fair is a four-day event that brings together 450 exhibitors from 29 countries; including independent designers, established brands, international country showcases and galleries. Every year, London Design Fair attracts over 25,000 influential retailer buyers, architects, interior designers, press, designers and design-savvy public.

We are delighted to announce the talented makers that have been selected for this showcase of ceramics, lighting, jewellery, glass, furniture, textiles, and more. Visitors can discover, amongst others, the geometric patterns of Catherine MacGruer’s soft merino textiles and Lizzie Farey’s organic sculptural forms in willow. They can find hand-built vessels by ceramicist Lara Scobie, and contemporary vernacular furniture by Kevin Gauld, the Orkney Furniture Maker.

We’re also tremendously excited to announce that we will be working with GRAS, a Scottish design studio, who have been appointed to design our stand space at Tent London.
