Meet the maker - Lizzie Farey

Following our SOFA preview film released last week, we now present the first short film featuring one of our SOFA Chicago makers.

Meet Lizzie Farey, artist basketmaker and fibre artist. Earlier in 2012 Lizzie invited Craft Scotland to visit her beautiful studio in Kirkcudbright, Dumfries and Galloway, as well as her nearby willow field. In our short film, Lizzie talks about her work, processes, and the connection between craft, nature, and meaning.
