Anna King - Drawing in Fibre
Drawing in Fibre explores the influences and inspirations of Anna King who held a successful solo exhibition in Tokyo in 2006. In her work she creates constructed textiles, paper, tapestries and coiled forms, and in two films in this online exhibition she shares the skill of making string from plant fibre and gives a glimpse into new work she is developing using this technique. A retrospective of her work will be held in the National Museum of Scotland in 2007.
