Wordcypher, incised lettering on Welsh roof slates with drawing and handmade paper by Frances Pelly

Wordcypher by Frances Pelly is part of a four section piece on Welsh roof slates inspired by the poetry of Nigel Wheale.  Based on Orkney, she will be exhibiting this work in the 2007 Scottish Lettercutters Assocation exhibition at the Stacy Marks Gallery in Perthshire in September.  Read more »
