Our home page in September features textile artist Jilli Blackwood who is renowned for her 'slash and show' technique.  The 'Screaming Scarf' is from the first collection she created for Julie Artisans Gallery in Madison Avenue, New York.  Her kimono collection was shown at the same venue in June 2005.  Read more »

First Birthday

In September craftscotland marks its first birthday with a free reception and display of work by Gavin Burnett, Joanne Kaar, Nicola Cairns, Hannah Louise Lamb, Deirdre Nelson and Rachel Hazell as well as the craftscotland forms in paper, wood, willow, silver and textiles.   There are still a few places available if you would like to join us to review the year and and hear about our plans for the future.   Read more »
