Data Collection Forms
You can submit your
details here for inclusion in the craftscotland database. This
database is used to support the search functions of the craftscotland website
and subsequent presentation of your information. Internet users will use search
criteria to retrieve information, and this will subsequently be displayed on a
search result listing and a dedicated web page. You may have received a
paper version of the data collection form from us. We prefer online
submissions as this helps to minimise errors from handwriting styles; so
if you choose this method then use the booklet sent to you as a guide to help
you with these online forms. Important note - to reduce the chance of
you getting 'timed out' (by your internet connection or other application), please think of the text you wish to go in the description fields
before you complete the online form; you may also like to compile your
descriptive text in a word processor first and then copy and
paste it into the online form. All items have a unique number
reference, and the forms are structured with explanatory notes first and the
boxes for completion second. Items are marked as to whether they are mandatory
(required) or optional. Note also that data items that are to be used in
processing searches are marked with an asterix *. When you have completed
your information, click the 'Send' button and the data will be stored, ready for
transfer to the craftscotland database. Click here for the Makers' data collection form
