About Me

Personal Statement

Crail Pottery Co - operative consists of a group of potters and artists who produce their own work but share workshops and showrooms in the beautiful setting of a pot and flower filled yard surrounded by gallery and studios in medieval buildings in the heart of historic Crail. This is the famous corner of tranquility which has featured in so many gardening programmes on T.V. along with the Pottery organic garden by the sea.

The members of the Co - operative produce a huge range of ceramics from functional table-ware and sculpture to garden-ware, fountains and murals in stoneware, terracotta earthenware, Raku and Porcelain. The main emphasis is on wheel throw in work either stoneware glazed with glazes made from local materials or creatively decorated earthware.

Our Co - operative is open all year every day from 8am to 5pm and is well sign posted in the middle of Crail.

Year Established: March 1965
