About Jaine Marriott Mosaics

Personal Statement

Jaine Marriott makes individual contemporary handcut mosaics for both indoor and outdoor use.

Many of the pieces incorporate recycled and salvaged materials including broken ceramics, slate roof tiles, glass bottles and wall tiles. They are mixed in with new materials such as mirror and stained glass for their translucent and reflective qualities.

Jaine is also available to lead workshops and community projects for children, young people and adults.

Achievements

Jaine Marriott was Artist in Residence at Huntingtower Castle, Perthshire in Spring 2012.
