About Starfish Studio
Personal Statement
Starfish Studio is situated in the lovely old fishing village of Johnshaven at the far south of Aberdeenshire, near the border with Angus.
It is a bright and welcoming shop stacked full of beautiful, contemporary, handmade goods from all over the British Isles.
It is also a working studio for Kate MacKenzie. Kate paints mainly landscapes, many featuring castles and other buildings, using bright, colourful acrylics.
The main emphasis is on high quality, affordable pieces with something to suit every pocket. Our goods are sourced from talented craftspeople from all over the country, with many pieces crafted locally.
Our stock includes textiles, glass, wood, ceramics, jewellery, accessories and much, much more.
