The Print Assembly Design is the platform used to showcase unique hand printed textile designs and functional art which exploit innovative and sustainable ideas.
Community printmaker Lauren Bryden is responsible for the unusual designs and trained at Glasgow School of Art. In her professional career she has developed new hand-printing and dyeing techniques for fabric, which emphasise resourceful and innovative processes.
These low-tech printing processes are also utilised in the outreach printing workshops around the country.
All designs are transient in their use and application, which ranges from interiors, to fashion and individual pieces of art.
