Crossing Borders
A collective of professional artists and makers representing a wide range of contemporary craft and art practice - ceramics, glass, leather, metal, wood, jewellery, textiles.
Individual works are available to commission or for direct sale. The group website shows gallery pages for each artist and maker with a direct link for enquiries. Members regularly come together to show their work in galleries and special events, including an annual Open Studios Trail each September. daisyglaisy is the work of Lindsay Allardyce who uses mainly wood and textiles to create a range of decorative items for the home – all of which are handcut, crafted, painted or sewn. Work includes Scandinavian inspired wooden birds, boats, owls and hares; handpainted customised blackboards and wooden signs; framed fabric collage pictures and more.

David Cohen - Pitclay Gallery
David has worked in ceramics for over 40 years. Former Head of Ceramics at the Glasgow School of Art (1986 - 1991) he specialises in Raku and designing large high fired plate compositions for corporate and private commission. David’s work beautifully explores themes dealing with nature and the human figure. David’s work and studio can be seen by visiting the Pitclay Gallery in East Lothian.

Deborah Macvicar - Designs On Benbecula
Deborah MacVicar is an artist and Jewellery designer. She went back to the local secondary school as an adult, and later to Lews Castle College, and Moray College UHI. Graduating in october 2011 with a BA hons in fine art.
She has been selected for the New Contemporaries Exhibition in Edinburgh by the RSA in March 2012, where she will show her ‘Performances in the Landscape’, and is currently involved in an arts residency named the ‘secret sea’, being run by Taigh Chearsabhagh arts trust.Location:

Digby Morrow - Mannerston Boxes & Bespoke Furniture
Digby Morrow is a craftsman who makes fine decorative hardwood boxes and bespoke furniture pieces in his workshop on the outskirts of Linlithgow, near Edinburgh, Scotland. Also he makes highly individual pieces to be used as unique ”room features”. He works in solid and veneered woods of both domestic and exotic varieties and uses inlays and marquetry to decorate his pieces. He finishes his work using a variety of techniques including French polishing.
Digby’s boxes can have many uses - jewellery, christening, birthdays, dressing, collection, games, keepsake, presentation, special anniversaries etc. Digby's furniture pieces are designed to be "one-offs" with unique features.Location:
