I create silver wearable jewellery and small decorative silverware for the home. I find my inspiration from my families allotment so my work revolves around plant and wildlife that can be found in scottish gardens.
My designs are inspired by natural sources, in particular the fragile elements which make up nature’s lifecycle. I draw these details from life, such as clusters of tiny buds, emerging seedlings and decaying seed pods. These drawings are then transformed into designs for finely-detailed, delicate looking pieces of jewellery.
I work predominantly in sterling silver, occasionally accenting the intricate details with both precious and semi-precious cut and rough stones. Many of my pieces are made entirely by hand using traditional techniques, creating jewellery that is contemporary, elegant and unique.
