My work involves a combination on specialised processes; I am combining new technologies with traditional techniques to create 3 dimensional objects of adornment. I chose the patterns in weave as the inspiration for my first collection; the hidden shapes and textures that occur in the patterns structure, offer endless design possibilities. My aim for my first collection is to transform flat patterns into 3 dimensional objects. My design process involves a combination of sketchbook work and 3d modelling. My focus at present is very much on shape and texture; this includes looking at the contrasts of rough and smooth textures. My designs are produced in gold and silver.

I work in steel and create unique sculptures of animals and abstract pieces. Inspiration is drawn from nature, and a fascination for movement, fluidity, lightness and texture.
