The Tayberry Gallery has established itself well within the Perthshire gallery scene over the past couple of years. In March 2011 jeweller Sarah Spalding took over the running. The gallery works under the remit to exhibit original handmade art and craft pieces by established makers and emerging talent from around the UK.
The gallery houses a jewellers bench where visitors can see work being made and also commission their own bespoke jewellery.
I specialise in high quality Woodturning and Bespoke Furniture.
I have been woodturning for a number of years and am a well accomplished turner specialising in many aspects of turning such as vases, natural edged bowls, platters, hollow forms and clocks. I also create artistic sculptural pieces. Most of the timber I use is native and locally sourced. As a registered professional turner, the high quality of my work has been formally recognised.
Bespoke furniture is made by commission to the customers exact specifications along with my own input. All furniture is handcrafted using traditional methods using high quality hardwoods.
Touched by Scotland is Scotland’s largest gallery of handcrafted gifts. Here you will find design-led work from hundreds of talented Scottish artists.
Contemporary glass & metal artist. Like to push boundaries and continuously experiment with materials and techniques to achieve innovative results. Spontaneity, imagination and humour are key ingredients in my work.
Vicky Stonebridge produces a wide range of craft items, often from recycled materials. Trained as a potter, she is fascinated by utilising waste products and objects from the local environment to create art making something out of anything; small sculptures, pottery, mosaics, driftwood mirrors, jewellery, rag weavings, reclaimed wool & textiles, bags and hats.
Robyn draws and works mostly in mixed media, she loves taking photos, capturing little pieces of places. She makes scrapbook jewellery with these photos and with collected twigs, they are one off, unique pieces.
The Wee Boorachie is a treasure trove of unique British hand-crafted gifts displayed in the old saw-mill building on the banks of the River Dee.
The Courtyard Studio specialises in unique silver-set gemstone jewellery and pewter, brass and wooden boxes inlaid with gemstones all with original miniature paintings completed in fine detail and signed by the artist Wendy Sabine. The boxes and pendants, brooches, cufflinks and ear-rings in agate and other semi-precious stones all have hand painted images ranging from angels, dragons, Pegasus, unicorns & fairies to wildlife subjects, animals and birds.
