My current work is the realisation of my aim of using craft techniques to transform textiles into three-dimensional objects. My making process is intuitive, reflecting my main source of inspiration - nature, in particular plant-life. Each 'petal' element of my textiles is handcrafted and individual. They are put together in a way that is spontaneous yet designed - the pieces 'grow' and become structured and sculptural.

I create contemporary jewellery which looks as though it has been found or grown rather then designed, with which I hope to invoke thought on how we should respect the planet and value the infinite beauty and ingenuity existing in the natural world.
I work mainly with silver, often combined with felt, enamel, copper, titanium and monofilament to create curious, delicate and captivating jewellery.
