Graham Stewart, designer gold and silversmith has been running his workshop and gallery in Dunblane since 1978. He and his small team of highly skilled craftsmen produce the hand wrought silver using traditional techniques. His designs are clean-lined, innovative and sculptural and his range includes high profile presentation pieces to fine quality functional silverware such as candlesticks, jugs, spoons, tumbler cups, bowls, quaichs, etc. He also produces a range of fine gold and silver jewellery. Graham made the "Three Honours " sculpture for the Scottish Parliament which was presented by Her Majesty the Queen at the opening of Holyrood.
Working in silver is inspiring and creative, technical and expressive. Using the traditional techniques of the silversmith as my foundation. I build pieces that explore the relationship between functionality and self expression. I want my work to be individual in design and concept and give pleasure to the user.
There are beautiful things being made all over the uk and our aim is to source them for you. We showcase gorgeous work from artists we admire, handmade not manufactured.
