My jewellery is a celebration of colour and shape, using a variety of materials including Perspex and wood, to create pieces that evoke memories of summer holidays and far flung places.
My work is primarily based on the art forms that can be found in nature, especially deriving from the sea and sea creatures. The wide variety of materials used, challenges the traditional roles of jewellery. Wool, wire, plastics, enamel paints and found objects, are mixed with precious materials such as gold and pearls. The end results are lightweight, sculptural, contemporary forms to adorn the body.
