I have been working in metal for 20 years.I work largely in silver and found objects. I try to achive a handmade/machined aesthetic. Most of my work is fabricated by hand with cast and machined elements. I am fascinated with nature, biology and mythology, and this influences and inspires my practice.

I live and work in the Scottish Borders where I design and make contemporary Scottish Textile products. I work mainly using scrap tweeds which are produced locally and combine these with new and other recycled fabrics, vintage buttons and beads to create a unique range of products. These include handbags, shoulder bags, lavender purses, corsages, brooches, lavender hearts, hats, Cannie men, Frumpy Fairies and applique pictures.
