My work involves a combination on specialised processes; I am combining new technologies with traditional techniques to create 3 dimensional objects of adornment. I chose the patterns in weave as the inspiration for my first collection; the hidden shapes and textures that occur in the patterns structure, offer endless design possibilities. My aim for my first collection is to transform flat patterns into 3 dimensional objects. My design process involves a combination of sketchbook work and 3d modelling. My focus at present is very much on shape and texture; this includes looking at the contrasts of rough and smooth textures. My designs are produced in gold and silver.
3D/2D has more than twenty years experience of organising quality selling events, large and small. We can vouch for the enduring popularity of events that unite makers, artists and designers with the buying public.
The 3D/2D ethos is simple: to provide the buying public with direct access to exhibitors who are selling only their own work.
