The product range includes scarves, bags cushions and throws. Alex also collaborates with Architects and Interior designers to create one-off commission pieces for public and private spaces.
I make timber structures using traditional and contemporary techniques. My designs are unique and tailored to suit individual commissions. Much of what I make is of a large scale and constructed using green oak. Completed work includes tree-benches, lych gates, sculptural objects, play areas, stage sets and bridges.
Trevor Leat and Alex Rigg create and build furniture using natural materials. Our combination of willow-weaving techniques and construction using Scottish hard-wood give a sense of scale and solidity. The sculptural qualities of the materials are used in combination with bold, figurative design to give a strong presence to each individual piece.
British jewellery designer Alexis Southam creates handmade pieces of silver jewellery inspired by all things botanical, and the amazing scenery, wildlife and history of Scotland.

Based on the shore of Loch Broom in the north west Highlands of Scotland, I design and make a range of framed collages and greetings cards which are also suitable for framing. I like to use my own handmade papers, Harris Tweed and other materials. I think of them as small mementos of the bigger picture.
