I make timber structures using traditional and contemporary techniques. My designs are unique and tailored to suit individual commissions. Much of what I make is of a large scale and constructed using green oak. Completed work includes tree-benches, lych gates, sculptural objects, play areas, stage sets and bridges.
Trevor Leat and Alex Rigg create and build furniture using natural materials. Our combination of willow-weaving techniques and construction using Scottish hard-wood give a sense of scale and solidity. The sculptural qualities of the materials are used in combination with bold, figurative design to give a strong presence to each individual piece.

Based on the shore of Loch Broom in the north west Highlands of Scotland, I design and make a range of framed collages and greetings cards which are also suitable for framing. I like to use my own handmade papers, Harris Tweed and other materials. I think of them as small mementos of the bigger picture.
