Creative woodcraft. Incorporating pyrography, painting, carving, woodturning and inlay we make gifts, furniture and items of wooden jewellery which are unique, tactile and functional. Commissions undertaken.
Taking inspiration from her home in the Scottish Highlands, Eileen produces a wide range of jewellery and silverware ranging from contemporary charm bracelets to Christening cups, spoons and bowls.
I make wheel-thrown Earthenware, stoneware and burnished Raku vessels through which I try to reflect the light, landscape and heritage of my Orcadian surroundings. These range from "Peedie Bird" mugs to large vases and commissioned bowls.
Hand built ceramics inspired by sunsets in over the West of Scotland's coastline. Slimline vases for a single stem. Wonky tactile pinched tea cups in matte black and egg shell blue. White pierced light spheres.
Bespoke hand blown & cast glass for architectural and sculptural commissions for private and corporate clients.
Gifts, awards, window panels, sculptures and public art works are part of Elin’s portfolio.
Elin design and makes all her work from her new glass blowing workshop & gallery in Alloa.
We are a small scale studio pottery based in the rural and remote area of the Scottish Borders called the Ettrick Valley.
We specialise in the production of handthrown and hand decorated functional stoneware ceramics. All the pots are hand thrown by Mark. The hand decorated range is designed and rendered free-hand by Elisabeth. All our work is high fired to cone 10, 1300oC.
My work celebrates the seductive beauty, purity and translucency of porcelain and bone china. I use these precious materials to create a range of jewellery as well as thrown functional work inspired by glimpses of natural wilderness found in urban environments. The work is tactile, individual and made to fit human hands.
Emma Lawrence-Peattie of Burnside designs is a textile designer based in Musselburgh.
She combines vintage and recycled fabrics with found objects to create a range of accessories and homeware.
Emma McDermott’s work is inspired by birds and their habitats. The damage caused by the jewellery industry to their environments, encouraged her to use all recycled or natural materials in her work.
London born, Emma Pattullo (nee Croker Poole) studied ceramics at Bristol (1990-93) before moving to Aberdeenshire in '94, where she now lives and works from her studio/gallery in Torphins.
