Coming from a graphic design background Sandra designs and makes contemporary glass pieces using a variety of traditional methods such as copper foiling, leading, fusing, painting and sandblasting. Unique pieces may contain one or all of these methods but the emphasis is on design. She produces a range of artefacts i.e; table lamps, plates, suncatchers, jewellery and freestanding pieces as well as leaded windows.
Sara ar margolily makes fascinators and accessories for you...full feather and fig...
My name is Sarah Hatton, a crafter for many years and inspired by The Trossachs. The natural beauty of The Queen Elizabeth Forest Park within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park is breathtaking. The woodland produces a host of natural materials including lichen covered larch branches and wonderful mosses. The Dukes Pass runs through to Aberfoyle, this reveals swathes of purple heather, which you may see on many of my cards.
Textile and surface designer Sarah Johnston runs Marram Studio, a printed textile label based in Glasgow, specialising in designs inspired by nature and the environment.
Marram Studio’s range of gifts, soft furnishings & fashion accessories includes linen cushions, colourful tea towels, art prints, handbags, purses, baby t-shirts and letterpress cards. Sarah also provides design services, producing bespoke work for private or corporate commissions.
Marram Studio’s collection is available in selected boutiques and from our online store.
My jewellery is a celebration of colour and shape, using a variety of materials including Perspex and wood, to create pieces that evoke memories of summer holidays and far flung places.
With an award winning approach to design and the experience to develop creative, commercial collections, Sarah Raffel's blends innovative design and originality.
My work is an exploration of natural cycles and identity, and searches for a way to express perceptions and connectedness to nature, it's movement and energy. Images and impressions of flight, air and water recur. I make jewellery and design windows to commission as well as making pieces from kilnworked and sandblasted glass, copper, slate and sculptural leads for exhibition.
