My artwork consists of mounted embossed metal pictures in art nouveau and celtic style designs.
Digby Morrow is a craftsman who makes fine decorative hardwood boxes and bespoke furniture pieces in his workshop on the outskirts of Linlithgow, near Edinburgh, Scotland. Also he makes highly individual pieces to be used as unique ”room features”. He works in solid and veneered woods of both domestic and exotic varieties and uses inlays and marquetry to decorate his pieces. He finishes his work using a variety of techniques including French polishing.
Digby’s boxes can have many uses - jewellery, christening, birthdays, dressing, collection, games, keepsake, presentation, special anniversaries etc. Digby's furniture pieces are designed to be "one-offs" with unique features.
Dizzy Drakes is the creator of unusual jewellery. Their range can be used to make a statement or coordinate beautifully with your outfit - whatever the occasion.
Doreen's textiles are all beautifully hand made original handbags, cushions and scarves. Each textile is designed using innovative styles, encompassing South Asian traditional textile and craft forms, as well as more contemporary Western ideas. Many styles are used to design and create scarves, handbags and interior furnishings, such as cushions.
In my own practice I use light, colour and form to communicate my understanding and wonder of the nature of being and my experience of the natural world, and I strive to express my fascination with perception.
