Clare Nicolson textiles combine digitally printed cottons and silks with vintage fabric to create a fresh range of interior textiles and accessories. The range includes cushions, throws, tea towels, scarves and handmade greetings cards, many of which incorporate vintage fabric ensuring truly unique designs.
I am a maker primarily working with the domestic environment.
Creating two and three dimensional, functional and non-functional pieces my work is based around domestic craft and vintage objects and interiors. Modernisation, change and reproduction inspire me to create work that present a narrative for our domestic past.
Clare designs and creates exquisite hats and headpieces for individual clients. With a strong background in traditional millinery Clare also develops and uses cutting edge techniques and innovative materials. Her hats have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the UK and included in prestigious fashion shows and as decorative art in interior design. Clare’s passion is to create unique designs that flatter and enhance her clients and make them feel absolutely special.

Claudia Escobar born Chilean/Polish is an international award winning fashion and textile designer. TIME Magazine voted Escobars Salmon Skin Leather Bikini ‘coolest invention for fashion of 2003’.
Escobar works with natural, organic, recycled and eco-friendly textiles, these include linen, wool, copper, wood and salmon skin and incorporates handmade and haute couture techniques. Her current work involves the creation of a new ‘conceptual material’.
Clemence Cocquet primarily works with paper and textile, especially knitwear, exploring their sculptural limits.
She has a strong interest for the potential for narrative in found material, such as old maps, books and unraveled cardigans.
Each item she creates is unique and designed to be used and worn.
Annie gets her millinery inspiration from new and vintage fabrics and loves to source trimmings by making the most of Scotland's secret accessory finds!
