Alice Wheeler has worked with her mother, Bethsy Gray, in Glasgow for a number of years and now creates her own work. Using Sterling silver and semi- precious stones to create fabulous statement necklaces, bracelets and earings. Original designs, pieces are wearable and affordable. Alice attends craft fairs in Stirlingshire, Trossachs, Blane Valley and Glasgow and is due to open a shop in Balfron in Spring 2009. Current inspiration includes looking at botanicals used in the pharmaceutical industry and plants which are toxic, linking to my first Pharmacology degree, and continuing to exploit the properties of gravity within the kiln whilst making unique vessels.
